Fall 2025 Barnstorm Interest Meeting

The Fall 2025 Barnstorm Interest Meeting will take place 

TOMORROW - Wednesday, Sept. 24, 6:00pm in B100, Theater Arts Center. 

Come sign up or learn about performance and/or tech/design work opportunities!

• Note: Theater Arts Majors may use the 5-unit THEA 55A Barnstorm class to satisfy the Lower Division Elective requirement and/or the Production Requirement. (Barnstorm does not satisfy a requirement for our minors.)

Barnstorm Theater Company and The SpongeBob Musical ROUND 2 auditions are coming up this Saturday, September 27!

Note: 

- Theater Arts Majors may use the 5-unit THEA 55A Barnstorm class to satisfy the Lower Division Elective requirement and/or the Production Requirement. (Barnstorm does not satisfy a requirement for our minors.)

Music Lessons & Ensembles in the Music Dept. 

- Open to ALL students!

All Music Department courses are open to all students and are offered for credit! The attached PDFs include instructor contact info for each ensemble or applied instructor, as well as information about fall quarter auditions.

If you want to continue with your music studies (even casually, outside of a Music major or minor), and/or you are looking for another class and have some musical background, check these out!

Wednesday, September 24
- 11:00-1:30
- Music Center 131 (lower level).
- Click here for the signup sheet.
- Prepare two contrasting pieces, preferably with piano accompaniment. A pianist will be provided.

NOTE:

- Participation in most Music Department stage productions requires taking voice lessons and other commitments.

- Individual lessons carry an extra fee.

- All lessons have an ensemble requirement.

- Students taking lessons have the opportunity to participate in Vocal Repertoire Class, and Opera Workshop and Scenes.

- Priority will go to Music majors/minors and Theatre Arts majors, but all UCSC students are invited to audition.
