CAMPUS COMMUNITY NETWORKING FAIRĀ

Tu Voz Cuenta—Your Voice Matters – Represent student perspectives! Share your story and ideas for successful K-12 afterschool programming in the Santa Cruz area.

Whether you:

  • Work in an after-school program or in a classroom as an intern or field study

  • Work for pay as a tutor, para-educator, in childcare, or in youth sports programs

  • Volunteer your time in any of the above

  • Are in an academic program of study related to education, children, families, and communities, and capacity-building for sustainable social ecosystems

  • Are you a parent looking for more after-school options?

  • Simply care about ensuring access to meaningful resources for our communities—

We’re excited to share that Corre la Voz and Senderos Santa Cruz are partnering this year on a community-based research project: Tu Voz Cuenta—Your Voice Matters.

Funded by the Monterey Peninsula Foundation and sponsored by the UCSC Education Department and Oakes College, this project aims to strengthen culturally responsive, collaborative afterschool programming in the Santa Cruz area.

To make this possible, we want to hear from you who are collaborators in this system, and especially those who deeply understand the needs and strengths of our Latinx families and youth.
