Pardon the summer interruption; I wanted to let you know that my collaborators and I will have a concert presentation for No Danger of Winning on September 4. 

No Danger of Winning is a hilarious and heartbreaking meta-musical based on the playwright's interviews with ten former contestants of color from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. It follows the contestants’ stories, along with the playwright's journey as she struggles with the same representation politics that haunt Reality TV, asking 'who is worthy of love' in our relationships, friendships, artistic collaborations, and in the eyes of an audience. 

I have been working on this project with my collaborators Thomas Hodges (composer) and Lisa Marie Rollins (developmental director and PPD colleague!) since 2017. 

Even though it's in NYC, you can watch it anywhere in the world via livestream (with access to the video for 24 hours after the performance!).
