CHANGES IN THE SPRING CLASS SCHEDULE SINCE PUBLICATION ON FEB 18:

New day and time for:

THEA 50 Fundamentals of Theater Production signup meeting:
Friday, April 3, 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
THEA 161R Theatre of American Cultures: Fighting Oppression:

SPRING 2026 ENROLLMENT & ADVISING:

This is Spring 2026 Enrollment Prep Week!

– Wednesday, Feb 18 - Wednesday, Feb 25.

During Enrollment Prep Week:

1) The Schedule of Classes Class Search is posted for the next enrolling quarter.
2) You can see your enrollment dates in your MyUCSC portal - look them up, put them on your calendar, and set reminders! (Waitlists open during the second round of dates - you cannot waitlist until your second date.)
3) You can start putting classes in your shopping cart in preparation to enroll on your dates.

ADVISING: Enrollment Prep Week is an ideal time to connect with advisors to update your academic plan, discuss enrollment and class selection questions, etc., before your first enrollment date.

Course offerings sheets at the top of the Theater Arts Course Offerings and Enrollment web page include a key to help choose classes for upper division requirement categories for the Theater Arts major and minor and the Dance minor.

Enrollment date schedules can be seen HERE. Your MyUCSC account will list your specific times.

Spring 2026 instruction begins Monday, March 30, 2026.

MAJOR DECLARATION

Students who are not yet declared in a major and are in or past their declaration deadline quarter will have holds placed on next quarter's enrollment (following an email message). If you are still not declared in a major and a hold is placed on your account, enrollment will not be possible until a major is declared or a major advisor alerts your college of declaration conditions. Contact your major advisor if you think you may be in this situation (or your college advisor if you are still undecided).

This does not apply to second majors or to minor declaration.

STUDENTS GRADUATING IN WINTER:

Apply for OFFICIAL GRADUATION (to receive an official diploma) from the university through your MyUCSC portal. You may do this up to one quarter in advance, including summer. Deadlines for applying to graduate are listed in the current Academic and Administrative Calendar. Click here for General UCSC Graduation information.
All students graduating this year are welcome to participate in the Theater Arts & Dance CEREMONIAL graduation commencement/celebration in June. Contact the...@ucsc.edu if you have questions about the spring ceremony.
