Dear UCSC Students,
I am Clement Stokes, a doctoral candidate in the Capital Area North Doctorate in Educational Leadership (CANDEL) program at UC Davis. I am conducting a research study titled:
"Assessing the Relationship Between Campus Safety and Basic Needs Insecurity on Student Success: A Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Perspective."
This study seeks to understand how experiences with campus safety, food insecurity, and housing instability affect academic performance, sense of belonging, and well-being among undergraduate students at UC Santa Cruz.
Your voice is essential to shaping how universities support student success.
Who can participate?
Any current UCSC undergraduate student, regardless of academic standing or background.
What will you do?
Complete a confidential, 15–20-minute online survey about your experiences on campus.
