Also, here are writing support services (see this and other info in the Theater Arts handbook):

  • Learning Support Services (LSS) - for undergrads.
LSS is UCSC’s undergraduate tutoring center, providing academic support programs including group tutoring, drop-in study halls, scheduled individual coaching sessions, and study skill workshops. LSS provides in-person academic peer support services for all UCSC undergraduates for any class to catch up and/or get ahead! Work with an undergrad peer tutor for help with math, languages, writing or editing a paper, putting together a PowerPoint presentation, and more! There’s no out-of-pocket cost to use LSS' services.

  • The Writing Center - for undergraduate and graduate students.
The Writing Center works with all students, in all genres, at all stages of the writing process.

  • Schedule an appointment here

    • In writing study hall, students can stay in the space and work on their writing/writing-adjacent projects with access to a tutor, or they can have one-on-one support during that drop-in window.
