UCSC Associate Vice Chancellor of Risk and Safety Services Clement Stokes is also a UC Davis doctoral candidate in the Capital Area North Doctorate in Educational Leadership (CANDEL) program Clement Stokes. Stokes is conducting a research study titled "Assessing the Relationship Between Campus Safety and Basic Needs Insecurity on Student Success: A Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Perspective."
The study seeks to understand how experiences with campus safety, food insecurity, and housing instability affect academic performance, sense of belonging, and well-being among undergraduate students at UC Santa Cruz.
Your student voice is essential to shaping how universities support student success. Any current UCSC undergraduate student may participate, regardless of academic standing or background.

SURVEY FOR GRADUATING SENIORS:
UCSC wants to hear about your post graduation plans! The First Destination Survey asks graduating seniors about plans after completing a degree at UC Santa Cruz -- whether seeking employment, working, going to graduate school, or pursuing other interests.
The survey will take about 3-5 minutes to complete and you will be entered into a drawing to win 1 of 5 $100 gift cards! Gift card recipients will be contacted via their UCSC email in early July so take the survey ASAP!
UCSC uses this aggregate data to learn about career outcomes of graduates, to share with potential students and their families and to make improvements to services.
