Find Your Path! 2026 is a two-day professional development workshop presented by the UCSC Arts Division for all students to learn more about careers in the Arts! Information is power; get strong as you discover career paths! Do. Not. Miss. This. Seriously.
The two-day event is as follows:
DAY 1
Thursday, April 16, 12-2:00 p.m.
Hybrid event*: In-Person at DARC 108 & online via Zoom Webinar (with registration)
- Keynote address by Sarah Sanford, Assistant Teaching Professor, Print Media and Drawing and Faculty Director of ArtsBridge, on Building Careers in Arts Education
- Presentation by UCSC Career Success: develop your resume, cover letter, portfolio and more!
- Enjoy refreshments and a chance to network for those joining in person!
- * NEW: Free professional headshots for a selected number of students who come in person with advance registration!
DAY 2
Friday, April 17, 12-4:30 p.m.
Hybrid event: In-Person at DARC 108 & online via Zoom Webinar (with registration)
Sessions with Industry Professionals, including panels focused on:
- Working in the Entertainment Industry
- Careers in Museums and Performance Spaces
- Careers in Games, Design, and Digital Media
- Art, Organizing, and Social Impact
Come engage with industry professionals representing Warner Bros. Entertainment, Watsonville Film Festival, MACLA, Santa Fe Opera, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Compton Museum of Art & History, Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, Favianna Rodriguez Studios, and more!
