Hey Psych Slugs! Here's an upcoming opportunity:
The Health Equity in Youth lab at the University of California, Santa Cruz is recruiting student volunteers with experience securing off-campus housing to serve as a peer mentor for their fellow students to assist in their experiences finding and living in off-campus housing. Peer mentors would be expected to contribute 3-6 hours per week to hold office hours, attend meetings, and participate in events. This peer resource will serve as a space to assist students in addition to the resources provided by the student housing office. We encourage students to apply who are passionate about housing insecurity, have had at least a year of navigating off-campus housing in the Santa Cruz area, and who are interested in supporting their peers with this exciting opportunity. Fill out the attached form to apply (https://forms.gle/XEmLrfXKB4ZKA2mVA) by Tuesday, January 20th; if you have questions, please reach out to Christine Xu at hey...@ucsc.edu.
