You’re invited to join the Basic Needs Team for our annual 2026 Basic Needs fair at the Cowell Courtyard! This year’s theme is RODEO! You are encouraged to dress the theme. We have an action-packed day planned for you all, including:

• Line dancing with Slug ‘N Boots

• Best Dressed Competition – Winner Gets Farmers Market Tokens!

• Demonstrations from Tolaria / Belegarth - UCSC’s Medieval Combat club!

• Chili, cornbread, and sweet tea, courtesy of Cowell Coffee Shop

• Rice Krispie “Hay Bales”, courtesy of the Redwood Free Market

• FREE Organic Produce from the Campus Farm courtesy of Produce Pop-Up

• FREE Dry goods and Pantry staples from the Redwood Free Market

• Bouquet Making, flowers courtesy of the Chadwick Garden

• Rodeo games and activities

• Resource tabling and activities from our partner organizations within our Basic Needs network

• AND MORE!
