Hello Psi Chi community and psychology majors,

Happy Week 8! As the quarter comes to an end and summer is approaching, we know many of you are looking for jobs or internships. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a CV/Resume workshop next Wednesday, March 4th, from 2:30-3:30pm in the J.R. Lewis/C9&10 Namaste Lounge. The event will be run by Dr. Rahal, who will be discussing careers in psychology, the graduate school application process, what businesses look for in a resume, as well as letters of recommendation and how to cultivate good relationships with faculty. This event is OPEN to all students in the psychology and cognitive science department, regardless of Psi Chi membership. So if you are not an official member, do not let that dissuade you from attending! We would love to see you there.

Whether you want to make a resume, update one, or ensure that your resume is formatted well, this is a great opportunity for members wanting to apply for jobs or internships this summer. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with our guest speaker, so we encourage active attendance. Attendance will be taken at this event; it is an opportunity for Psi Chi members to earn an attendance point. As a reminder, you need to attend 3+ events this quarter to be considered an active member.

Thank you for your continued participation in Psi Chi, and we look forward to seeing you at our event!
