We have an exciting paid internship opportunity at the institute next year. The Institute for Social Transformation is seeking a motivated and passionate Programs and Outreach Intern to join our team in 2026-2027. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in program management, student outreach initiatives, and community engagement. The Programs and Outreach Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our experiential learning programs for underrepresented students, such as the Building Belonging and Transforming Futures programs.  

This is part of the UCSC CUIP internship program: 

• Interns receive up to a $5,500 scholarship
• Take a class on Leadership and Institution Building with opportunities to meet with top campus leadership. 
• Work in a professional environment with a mentor and develop your leadership and professional skills
