Hi UCSC Psychology Department,
My name is Seoyun Kim, and I’m part of the Cognitive Science Student Association at UC Berkeley. We’ve been doing outreach to nearby universities and undergraduate organizations that might be interested in cognitive science, interdisciplinary research, or presenting posters.
We’re hosting our annual California Cognitive Science Conference (CCSC) on Saturday, April 25th at UC Berkeley, and would love to invite your members to attend and/or to submit research posters. This year’s theme is “The Cognitive Horizons: Exploring the Mind Beyond Measure,” highlighting work that pushes the boundaries of how we study and understand the mind.
Event & ticket info: https://ccsc2026.eventbrite.com/.
Poster presenter interest / submission link: https://tinyurl.com/ccsc26poster. The poster submission deadline is April 5th, and we’ll notify everyone of their acceptance status as soon as possible.

We’re also offering a discount/early bird code for student orgs: CCSC26-STUDENT, and tickets are free for students with a university ID until 4/25! Be sure to select “General Admission” for the ticket selection. Please feel free to share this with your members in your Slack/Discord, group chats, or newsletters/communications.
If it’s possible, we’d greatly appreciate you sharing the event (and/or our IG post) with your community. Thank you so much for your time and support! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Best,
Seoyun Kim
