Huerta Center Legislative Fellowship Program

The Dolores Huerta Legislative Fellowship is aimed at introducing students to public service. The selected fellows will participate in four professional development sessions in January and meet regularly with the Huerta Center faculty director for continued mentorship through June, while interning in a local elected official's office. This paid fellowship is an ideal opportunity for a UC Santa Cruz undergraduate student interested in learning about the legislative process up close and to experience the daily operations of an elected official's office.
