Hi,
I'm trying to run some simulations with analytical models. But they are taking very long time and sometimes they do not end.

For this configuration, it took 10 hours. Is it normal to have so long runtime for analytical models?
word_size = 128
num_words = 32
tech_name = "freepdk45"
process_corners = ["SS"]
supply_voltages = [ 1.0 ]

For this one,  the simulation was stuck at some point.
word_size = 64
num_words = 64
tech_name = "freepdk45"
process_corners = ["SS"]
supply_voltages = [ 1.0 ]

The ending lines of the log file were these:
.....
**** Enclosing pins: 0.2 seconds
*** Finding pins and blockages: 35.8 seconds
[router/write_debug_gds]: Writing annotated router gds file to debug_route.gds

Could you help me solve this issue?

Best,
Farbin.

Hi Farbin,

That is abnormally long especially with analytical models. It's  not that big of a memory...

What commit of OpenRAM are you using?

Matt

Try using the dev branch which is a bit ahead of that and see if this is fixed.
