Dear colleagues,

The organizers decided to extend the deadline by 1 week to help give everyone more time to prepare their submissions.

We highly recommend that you still aim to submit on October 1, so that you allow time to fix issues that might come up when you run the evaluation tools or submission validation tools on your own. You will be able to make changes to your submission up to the deadline time.

Also, on the call today, I mentioned that Challenge 3 will primarily use the cDNA library prep method because the manatee sample was only prepared this way. There are no R2C2, CapTrap, or dRNA library preps for manatee. However, if you are planning to submit to Challenge 3 using these other library types (R2C2, CapTrap, dRNA) that are only available for mouse data, then we will accept the submissions.

If you have more questions, please email lrgasp-sup...@ucsc.edu.

Best,
Angela Brooks
