LRGASP Consortium calls to present preliminary results

Dear colleagues,

Thank you to those who submitted predictions to one or more of the LRGASP Challenges. Those submitters should have received individual reports of your evaluations, without any comparisons to other submissions. If you have not received these yet or have questions/comments about them, please send a message to lrgasp-sup...@ucsc.edu as soon as possible.

The organizers are now ready to present preliminary evaluation results for all three challenges, which will include comparisons between submissions. The LRGASP organizers have been very mindful of being fair; therefore, members of the organizers who also submitted predictions have not yet seen the results of the evaluations (including myself!). The initial public reveal will start with a call on Feb. 17.

Here are the call dates and topics. Each call will be on a Thursday at 8am PT/11am ET:

Feb. 17: Challenge 1 Results, Francisco Pardo-Palacios (Conesa Lab)

Mar. 3: Challenge 2 Results, Dingjie Wang (Au Lab)

Mar. 10: Challenge 3 Results, Francisco Pardo-Palacios (Conesa Lab)

You should have received Google Calendar invitations. The calls will be recorded and posted on our main website: https://www.gencodegenes.org/pages/LRGASP/

I will send out a more detailed agenda as the presentation date gets closer.

A brief clarification: 

If you participated in Challenge 1 and/or 2, you should have received your individual results. 

Challenge 3 participants, your results have not been sent out yet, but you should expect them shortly.
