Dear colleagues,

If you missed the presentation last week, the recording can be found here and will be posted on our website.

The LRGASP Consortium Organizers are preparing for the launch of the challenges. To help plan logistics of the submissions to the challenges, can you please fill out the following quick survey indicating which challenge(s) you plan to submit for?

You can participate in one or more challenges. We would like to get a rough estimate of participants at this time; therefore, response to the survey is not considered a commitment.

For more information about the LRGASP Consortium and the challenges, please visit our website:
https://www.gencodegenes.org/pages/LRGASP/

Please respond by February 17, 2021.

CHALLENGES

Challenge 1: Transcript isoform detection with a high-quality genome
Goal: Identify which sequencing platform, library prep, and computational tool(s) combination gives the highest sensitivity and precision for transcript detection.

Challenge 2: Transcript isoform quantification
Goal: Identify which sequencing platform, library prep, and computational tool(s) combination gives the most accurate expression and expression fold-change estimates.

Challenge 3: De-novo transcript isoform identification without a high-quality genome
Goal: Identify which sequencing platform, library prep, and computational tool(s) combination gives the highest sensitivity and precision for transcript detection.

Thank you!

Best,
