Dear OpenRAM Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently working with OpenRAM for academic research purposes and am facing some difficulties with its installation and basic usage. Could you please advise on how I can get proper help or documentation regarding these issues? Is there an official user forum or preferred channel for support?

In addition, I am interested in exploring the possibility of custom SRAM generation. Specifically, I would like to know:

  • Is it possible to configure OpenRAM to customize the generated SRAM, such as modifying control logic or internal cell behavior?

  • More concretely, I am looking to activate two wordlines simultaneously for in-memory computing purposes. Is this kind of modification supported directly in OpenRAM, or would I need to modify the generated Verilog/SPICE/GDS outputs manually?

Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Best regards,

Hi Iraj,

The documentation is included in the GitHub repository:

In terms of activating more then one word line for IMC, you would need to modify the circuits to do this. That's beyond what it can do at this time.

Please submit any fixes as a PR to the dev branch if you have any.
