Launch of Theodoros Kolokotronis digital archive

Dear colleagues,
You are invited to explore the digital archive of Theodoros Kolokotronis, which is now open to the public. The collection comprises 1,143 documents dating from the period of the Greek War of Independence (1821–1832).
The archive was acquired in 2022 by the MSVF – Michael N. Stassinopoulos VIOHALCO Foundation in collaboration with the Social and Cultural Affairs Welfare Foundation (KIKPE).
This digital resource offers scholars and all those interested in Modern Greek history, particularly the period of the War of Independence, the opportunity to engage directly with primary sources related to the life and activities of one of Greece’s most prominent historical figures.
