Room sharing at the MGSA Symposium & securing the reduced hotel rate for "shoulder nights"

Dear MGSA symposium speakers,

We have received a couple inquiries from speakers interested in finding a roommate and sharing a room at the official conference hotel for the upcoming MGSA Symposium at the University of Illinois Chicago.

If you are interested in exploring this possibility, please send an individual email back to me at this email address. Include your name, affiliation, and your email address and I will share a list amongst those of you declaring such an interest. 

You will then have to contact each other and make any arrangements among yourselves. The MGSA bears no responsibility for any arrangements made between interested parties.

The rooms at the hotel are at a very reasonable rate for Chicago, especially on the busy Fall weekend of our symposium. These reduced rates are available until September 16th at the latest: so, please book early! General information on accommodation and travel may be found here-

Also, whilst most of you may require nights between October 14 or 15 and October 18th, we realize that some of our international visitors may wish to stay on for the nights on either side of the selected symposium dates. These are known as "shoulder nights" in the hotel business (you learn something new every day!).
