The Hellenic Republic bestows an Honorary Distinction on our Journal of Modern Greek Studies for its "contribution to the dissemination of modern Greek studies internationally"

Yesterday the Ministry of Culture Literary Awards Committee of the Hellenic Republic bestowed an Honorary Distinction on our MGSA's premier publication, the Journal of Modern Greek Studies! Congratulations to Artemis Leontis, Editor of our Journal of Modern Greek Studies and to her team of associate editors, book review editors, copy editor, Editorial Board, as well as to our hosts at the Johns Hopkins University Press. Deep appreciation also to all the past editors and contributors who have worked on the Journal down the years--since its first issue in 1983--to make it the "magnificent scholarly journal" that it is (Choice Magazine).
