In celebration of the International Greek Language  Day, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, Hellenic Link–Midwest will present Dr. Zoe Gavriilidou, Professor of Linguistics at Democritus University of Thrace, in a lecture titled "Keeping Greek Alive Abroad: Why Speaking the Language Still Matters in the Diaspora". The event will take place at 3:00 pm at the lecture hall of The Holy Taxiarhai and Saint Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N Caldwell Ave, Niles, Illinois. Admission is free.

If you are a current or prior member of Hellenic Link–Midwest we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that you can make a membership renewal payment for calendar year 2026: $75 for single members and $115 for couples. If you have already submitted a payment, please ignore this reminder and thank you!

One way to submit a payment is to do it in person, by cash or check, at the February 22 lecture event.
