Dear MGSA members,

If you are interested in organizing a panel at the next MLA Convention, which is scheduled in Los Angeles, between January 7– 10 2027, please send me the following information by February 6th:

a 35-word CFP to be posted at the MLA website so that interested participants can submit abstracts to you.
a brief bio, including your affiliations

This deadline is to propose a topic for which you will seek abstracts within the next two months. You are not expected to submit a full panel proposal at this point. You may review existing CFP here.

The deadline to submit a complete panel proposal including abstracts and affiliations of all panelists is March 15.

If you have questions about the process of organizing a panel at the MLA, do not hesitate to contact me.
