Hi everyone,
I would like to briefly introduce a project called Greek America by the Numbers. The project analyzes U.S. Census Bureau and American Community Survey (ACS) data, and may incorporate additional relevant datasets as it develops, to document population size, geographic distribution, socioeconomic characteristics, immigration history, and language patterns among individuals reporting Greek ancestry in the United States. Here's the actual link: https://www.greekamericabythenumbers.com.
The site is intended as a descriptive, data-driven resource for researchers, students, journalists, and community members interested in the Greek-American population. It includes short analytical posts, an interactive national map (with additional state-level maps in development), and a demographic FAQ based on recent ACS estimates.
I welcome feedback, suggestions, and potential collaborations.
Thank you, and I look forward to connecting.
Best,
Greg
