Reminder to MGSA members: please vote in the MGSA Elections & for a new Executive Committee & for Constitutional Amendments

Dear MGSA Members,

The 2026 Election for the MGSA Executive Board remains open.  Please take time to vote for 12 faculty board members and one graduate student board member.  The board members will serve for three years.  You can also vote on the Proposed Constitutional Amendments. Current 2026 members are able to vote.  Voting will close on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT.

• Click on "Elections" in the panel on the left.
• Click on "2026 ELECTION FOR THE MGSA EXECUTIVE BOARD"
  
• Click on "Regular Members."
  
• Click on the candidates’ names to read their statements.
• Once you have made a decision, click on the yellow VOTE button to bring up the ballot.
• Select the candidate(s) you wish to vote for by clicking the checkbox next to his/her name. 
• Under the list of candidates for the position, click the Vote button to submit your ballot or click on the Abstain button if you do not wish to cast a vote.
  You can ‘Undo' your vote and ‘Vote Review' pressing the relevant buttons at any time.
• Click on "Graduate Students" and repeat Steps 6-7.
• Go back to the election page, and click on "2026 Proposed Constitutional Amendments".
•  Please click on the link to the “proposed amendments” and read these in full.
  
• There are four questions. Please click the yellow "vote" button next to each question to select "yes" or "no" and then selecct "vote”.

PLEASE do not leave this important action to the very last minute: if you have a query close to the deadline, there is no guarantee that we can respond and solve your issue in time.

So, please, take some time in the next day or two and do your civic duty!
