In collaboration with the, the Australian Archaeological Institute at Athens (AAIA) is delighted to announce a new research fellowship to support scholars undertaking research into the archaeology or history of the island of Ithaca, Greece.
It provides up to AUS$6000 for travel and accommodation to Greece and/or other countries where there is relevant source material.
The aim is to enable the Fellow to progress a peer review publication.
This opportunity is open to scholars of any nationality, although priority will be given to researchers at Australian institutions and Australian researchers based abroad. It is not necessary to be a member of the AAIA or the IHS to apply.
The closing deadline is Friday, 28 November 2025 at 12:00 AEDT.
