Dear MGSA Members,

I am pleased to report that the IT Team at our partner and host, the Johns Hopkins University Press, has addressed the technical difficulties found in the electronic Election Ballot established about a week ago. The IT Team has also greatly simplified the process, especially as regards the display of the docket and voting process for the 12 of the 16 Regular Member nominees to the new Executive Board (2026-29)Users will now be able to select from a dropdown, alphabetical listing of candidates by clicking the checkbox next to each individual's name.

Members will be receiving a new email invitation to their inbox this afternoon.

Please read all instructions carefully and follow the steps set out in that email. You have until Monday, June 15th at 11:59 p.m. to cast your votes. So, please, proceed to vote on 1 of 3 Graduate Student Representative; 12 of 16 Regular Members for the MGSA Executive Committee (2026-29); and consider approval of 4 constitutional amendments.

NOTE: If you already managed to vote last week, your vote has been registered, but you can still go into the site, review, and undo and change your vote right up until the election closes.

My apologies for the frustrations provoked by facets of the initial election site. Thank you for your understanding,
Vangelis
