LECTURE: "Writing Women's Lives, Looking for

Eva Palmer Sikelianos"

THURSDAY, MARCH 19 | 6:00 PM | AT THE NHM

In Celebration of International Women’s Day, join us for an evening with Professor Artemis Leontis this talk explores what it means to recover and write women’s lives.

Reflecting on the story of Eva Palmer Sikelianos—a visionary American artist who helped spark a modern revival of Greek culture—it examines the creative and ethical challenges of reconstructing women’s histories from fragments. How do we tell stories that were never fully preserved? And what does it mean to restore women to the cultural narratives they helped shape?
