Today, I heard from a lab that the FIBRE scanner had a sign on it saying "Scanner down" and they were asking when it would be back up. This was the first I'd heard of it, even though it had apparently been down for a number of users. If you experience an issue with equipment, make sure to do at least one of the following:
- Post up here
- Send an email to Rongwen and to me
- Use the trouble-ticket system
Any of those will get it so that either Rongwen or I can quickly have a look and perhaps get things going straight away or at least get Siemens on the job quickly. I've given the system a full restart (console restart didn't help) and we're now back to being operational. Rongwen's on vacation still for a bit, so I'll be monitoring things closely myself.
If anyone has any further issues, let us know by one of those methods.
