As part of our new expansion space at FIBRE, I've been setting up an area and compute resources for data processing.  At the heart of this is a 24-core workstation w/128G of RAM and 50T of ZFS-based RAIDZ2 storage running Linux Ubuntu 20.04.  The idea of this space is that it gives a place and resources for people who don't have large compute resources within their labs to come and process data either directly on that machine or by linking onto our network and connecting to the machine for remote work.

I've got the guts of this all setup, but would like to know of people who are interested in starting to use it.

For more discussion, head on over to the CCNI Slack (ccni.slack.com) and the #fibre channel there.  If you've not joined up there, here's a link that'll let you join.
