to plot WRF data in Lambert Conformal projection onto a Plate Carrée (latitude and longitude) coordinate system

I have a netcdf file that extracts a single variable (precipitation) with cdo from the model output and would like to plot it in Python, however I am having trouble with the projection. Has anyone done something similar and could help me? Thank you in advance for your attention!
