I've been able to use wrf-python to plot most things I need but have been unable to plot cross-sections with wind barb overlays.  I found some code to do this but can't make it work.  I'm using wrf-python v1.3.4.1 on a Debian bullseye system.  Any help would be appreciated.

do you have specific points you want to plot to or to pick ones at your choice?

Did you get my answer?  I'd like to be able to input various lat/lon endpoints for my crosssections.  Thanks.

I need something like that in addition to what I first asked for.  For these time-height plots (like you sent in your last mail), I'm assuming that these are at a specified lat/lon location.  Please verify.  And I'd like to plot another field (say temperature or relative humidity) in filled contours under the wind barbs.  This is very close to what I need.

For my original question, I'd like to plot something like my attachment with wind barbs added in the two cross-section windows.  The cross-section is shown in the left panel in yellow and is defined by two lat/lon pairs.  Any idea how to do that?
