HI Fatemeh,

     I can help you with generating the HRLDAS forcing files using NLDAS inputs but I am not not sure what you meant by the main configuration file. Are you referring to the two namelist files, namelist.hrldas and hydro.namelist, or the NCL script that is used to regrid and downscale the NLDAS data and create the HRLDAS forcing files?

Hi Fatime and Yongxin,

I'd also be curious if anyone has the time to share some guidance on how to regrid the meteorological forcing inputs from NLDAS grib or netcdf files. I'm also working through the Croton example case, and I've been able to run the WRF-Hydro tutorial with the pre-prepared forcing inputs and use the Python GIS pre-processing toolbox to make the "routing stack" input files, but I've had more trouble preparing forcing inputs from scratch from NLDAS netcdf files. I wasn't able to find the forcing engine configuration file "nldas_fe.config" referenced in the tutorial, so I've been trying to adapt one of the template configuration files from here, but it involves choosing a lot of parameters, and I haven't found much documentation explaining how to do this. I'd appreciate if anyone more experienced with WRF-Hydro could share advice for finding documentation/guidance on regridding!
