How to prepare Channel mask raster while Process GEOGRID file

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to prepare Channel mask raster while Process GEOGRID file?

I tried to find an example of this file, but could find nothing. I have no clue on this.

I would be grateful if you could help me out. Thanks in advance!

This is a newer parameter that was recently added to the WRF-Hydro GIS Pre-processing tool and is not required. You can use a 'mask raster' consisting of values 1 and NoData which exactly matches your routing grid. This raster will be used to mask channel cells such that the routing stack will only have channels (and derivative grids) within the area defined with values of "1". This could be useful if you want to exclude channel routing outside of a basin of interest. It will not result in very different computation time.
