How to increase the number of soil layers

     I'm trying to change the number of soil layers when runing uncoupled WRF-Hydro. 

     So I have change the Soil layer specification in both namelist, and modify the variable "ZS","DZS","SMOIS" and "TSLB" in wrfinput file.

      However, model stopped and 

      "NetCDF: Not a valid ID",  " ***** READ_HRLDAS_HDRINFO:  Problems finding dimension 'west_east' " are printed out. 

      I can not figure out where the error is.

Hey

I faced a similar error "READ HRLDAS HDRINFO". Later realised that I had made a mistake in my file path for the geogrid file etc. 

I know this does not answer your question regarding the increase in number of soil layers, but you could go back and check if the paths mentioned to your domain or forcing data are right in the Namelist file is right or not.
