Potential Evapotranspiration

Hello WRF-hydro community,

I should like to know whether WRF-Hydro can output simulated results for potential evapotranspiration. If so, in which file are the output results stored?

I would appreciate your feedback on this issue.

Hi Bai:

Noah-MP does not generate a PET, since it does a full integrated solution for ET. I do know folks have used the met inputs and some of the standard PET estimator equations (e.g., https://pyeto.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) to calculate PET as a post-process, just note that these different estimators can give a wide range of values.
