Unexpected Lake Elevation Values

Hello All,

I'm using WRF Hydro to study lake / reservoir behavior and I am running into some unexpected behavior. When inflow and outflow are dramatically different, I would expect the lake water surface elevation to be changing. However, in this table you can see that elevation does not change as much as I believe it should. (Note that the simulation timestep is every hour, but I'm only outputting files every 24 hours)

Has anyone run into this issue before? Is there a rational explanation for this behavior or am I doing something wrong?
