Coupled WRF | WRF-Hydro with updated code [demo question]

I am curious if it is possible to compile and run the coupled (WRF | WRF-Hydro) model with code from the latest (v5) WRF-Hydro release.  Has anyone attempted this?

You can find instructions on how to build and run WRF-Hydro v5 coupled to the WRF atmospheric model here on our WRF-Hydro webpage.

We should have some additional documentation a test case available this fall so stay tuned!
