Dear WRF-Hydro community,

I am new in WRF-Hydro and am in the process of preparing a simulation in a watershed of one of the major rivers in Mexico (Papaloapan river). Te domain (red rectangle in figure attached) includes two catchments (brown and pink polygones) and I will be using WRF to force the model. Streamflow in a gauge station (red marker in figure) downstream the catchments presents high baseflow (~200 m³/s) (lower panel in figure attached), which in this example is for 2012.

My question is what would be the best approach to incorporate this baseflow to a run if I want to simulate, let's say, the period of time between the vertical dashed lines (~June 2012) in the time series, in terms of baseflow bucket setup or/and spin up time, etc?

Many thanks in advance.

Best,
