Request for Croton Test Case Main Configuration File (Using NLDAS Inputs to create HRLDAS for WRF-Hydro)

Dear WRF-Hydro Team,

I am currently working on regenerating HRLDAS forcing data using NLDAS inputs for the Croton test case in WRF-Hydro Model. My main goal is to gain hands-on experience and better understand the process of generating HRLDAS forcing inputs.

To proceed effectively, I was wondering if anyone could kindly share the main configuration file that was used in the Croton test case. Access to this config would be extremely helpful in learning the correct workflow and structure.

Hi Fatemeh:

Can you clarify what you mean by "main configuration file"? All of the files to run the test case are available in the test case zip file available here:

Thank you for your email.

To generate the HRLDAS forcing data for the Croton test case using the genForcing engine, we need a configuration file. I noticed that several template files are available at https://github.com/NCAR/WrfHydroForcing, and I was wondering which specific configuration file would be appropriate for the Croton test case.

I see - you are looking for a configuration file for the Forcing Engine, not the model. Is the file not available via the training module?
