WRF-Hydro calibration not able to create CHANOBS outputs

Hi,

I am running calibration on WRF-Hydro with gridded configuration for a couple of sites. I have multiple sites running and calibrated successfully. However, for one site, I have trouble in creating CHANOBS outputs even though I enabled CHANOBS outputs in the settings file. CHRTOUT can be outputted successfully for this site. Attached are my input files for this site. And it is a site with a domain size of 41*46. Could anyone help me with this issue?

Tong,

You did not provide a route_link.nc file in your domain files. When using a reach-based configuration of WRF-Hydro (which you have created here, evidenced by the presence of values in the LINKID variable in Fulldom_hires.nc), there will be a reach parameter file (route_link.nc) which contains parameters including any gauge locations. You will need to check the 'gages' variable in this file to make sure your locations have been placed onto the network.

Hi Kevin,

I've been working through the routing process again and have created all outputs using a gridded configuration. However, I'm still unable to get the CHANOBS_DOMAIN to output properly. Could you help me identify the issue? Here are the error messages that occurred during the simulation:

WARNING: LDASIN file has a perverse version identifier
ldasin_version = 0
SNOW HEIGHT NOT FOUND - VALUE DEFINED IN LSMINIT

I've attached all the DOMAIN inputs I have set for the simulation as well as some of the regridded forcing data for this domain for your reference. Or you can access my working directory on Derecho: /glade/derecho/scratch/twan/Simulation/01350000

Any insights you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
