Dear all,
I am running WRF-Chem version 4.4, using chem-opt=202.
I tried to set initial and boundary conditions for wrfinputs and wrfbdy files(I put 3 domains) using mozbc utility.
After installing mozbc utility, I downloaded WACCM data from the below website:  CAM-Chem Download for Jan 2021.
However, after running mozbc to add initial and boundary condition values to wrfinputd01 and wrfbdyd01,I noticed some negative values for chemical species in wrfinputd01 and wrfbdyd01. So my question is how can I sort this issue out please?
Any suggestions is appreciated.
Thanks-

Hi,

which values are negative? And which chemical mechanism and mapping are you using? In wrfbdy you expect to have negative values for the perturbation fields (e.g. O3_BTXE) whereas the concentration fields should all be positive (e.g. O3_BXE). The chemistry fields in wrfinput should not have any negative values.
