AliReza,

The error you pointed out is not a problem.  It has been in the cbm4 KPP files for a long time.
However, there does seem to be a problem with your compile.  I would like you to issue the
following commands:

(1)   clean -a
(2)   configure
(3)   compile

with both WRF_CHEM and WRF_KPP set to 1.  Please let us know how the result.

Hi,

Did you manage to complie with kpp? I am having the same problem, wrf-chem without kpp compile well but errors with kpp on osx.
Since weeks now I am struggling with this issue. I attach my lofg file
log.compile

Abdoulayesar,

You can ignore the error comment for the cbm4 mechanism.  It is harmless.

Thank you stacy, In my case it is not compiling at all when I set WRF_KPP=1 and no error in WRF_KPP=0.
The error here is in the module kpp as indicated in the log file. I hope someoe who compiled on mac could help and when needed I can post my configure.wrf..

Kind regards,

Abdoulaye

Abdoulaye,

I did not realize you are trying to compile WRFChem on a Mac using
the GNU compiler.  I would recommend that you look for another
machine on which to compile and run WRFChem.  In particular a machine
that has a Linux operating system.

I've had trouble compiling WRF on a Mac and have basically given up
on trying.

And it is doubtful that a Mac will be able to efficiently run even a modest
spatial domain chemistry simulation.
