I have successfully ran wrf-chem using below namelist file. I got wrfout file for time period which i took.
But while potting I am unable to see variables like PM2.5, PM10, SOx, NOx, NMVOC, NH3, CO.
For my study I want to show a comarison between wrf output and observed value for these pollutants specially for PM2.5
I am attaching here my namelist.input file for reference.
If anyone faced this same kind of problem and please suggest solution

Hello,

we cannot help you with your question since you are using chem_opt=2 and we only can support the by us contributed developments including the suite of MOZART chemical mechanisms.

Note also that chem_opt=2 is one of the non-KPP schemes and likely has not been updated or tested in a long time.

Can you suggest which chem_opt I can use for simulating PM2.5 pollutant?

Hello Mukesh,

which scheme to use depends on your scientific question and the conditions you are trying to simulate (e.g. is PM2.5 mostly controlled by direct emissions or do you need a scheme that simulates SOA formation, are nitrate aerosols relevant, ... ) and by your computational resources. I suggest looking into the different aerosol schemes that WRF-Chem provides and whether you will be fine using a simple scheme like GOCART or need a more advanced ones like MADE/SORGAM or MOSAIC.
