Dear all,

I have been using WACCM for the boundary and initial condition to run WRF-Chem for the period December 2018 till date. Kindly confirm if the data for WACCM is not available before December 2018. Since MOZCART data is not available beyond Jan 2018, kindly suggest on what input files may be used for boundary conditions during the period February 2018 to November 2018.

Thanks and Regards
Jaya

MOZCART is the chemical mechanism in WRF-CHEM, not a global model. For dates when WACCM data are not available you can use CAM-Chem output
(https://www.acom.ucar.edu/cam-chem/cam-chem.shtml) as referenced on our WRF-Chem Tools website.

Hi,

I would like to know if similar inp file as that for mozart will be suitable for CAM-CHEM also, considering the nomenclature.

regards,
Madhav

Madhav,
yes for both WACCM and CAM-Chem you can use the mapping provided on our website:
