Regarding error in MOZBC running using CBMZ-MOSAIC_4bins.inp

Dear All,

I am getting an error in mozbc using CAM-Chem data for 2018. I am using CBMZ-MOSAIC_4bins.inp and getting this error

init_mozart_lib: opened /EMISSION/MOZBC/hb0000.nc

 checking wrf variable hno4

 len HO2NO2 =            6

 chk_moz_vars: could not find HO2NO2_VMR_inst                  in /run/media/maslab-3/HDD1/EMISSION/MOZBC/hb0000.nc

 NetCDF: Variable not found

 fail to process netCDF file...

I am attaching the namelist and error file for your reference. Please suggest me to resolve this issue.

Would you please issue the following command:

ncdump -v date,datesec hb0000.nc > hb0000.hdr

and return the hb0000.hdr file to me?

There are serious errors in the spc_map variable in your CBMZ-MOSAIC_4bin.inp file.

The following variables are mapped to your WRF simulation via spc_map but are NOT

in the file hb0000.nc:

NH4NO3, SA1, SA2, SA3, DUST1 ... DUST4, OC1, OC2, CB1, CB2, SO4

At the least you need to set the following namelist variable to use hb0000.nc:

moz_var_suffix = ' '

However, due to the problem indicated above even the moz_var_suffix definition

will not result in a successful mozbc result.

We urge you to thoroughly read the README.mozbc document and if possible

consult with an experienced WRFChem user at your home institution.
