Dear All,

I am currently encountering an issue while running the wrf.exe program and would appreciate any assistance in resolving it. Specifically, I am receiving the following error message:

-------------- FATAL CALLED --------------- FATAL CALLED FROM FILE: <stdin> LINE: 2450 med_read_wrf_chem_emissions: error opening wrfchemi_d01_2020-12-01_00:00:00 -------------------------------------------

It seems that there is a problem with opening the file wrfchemi_d01_2020-12-01_00:00:00. I have attached the namelist.input, rsl.error, and rsl.out files for your reference.

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

Hello Nishant

it seems that the wrfchemi file does not exist but sometimes you can
receive that error also when any other input file is missing, e.g.
wrffire. So make sure all the needed input files are in your run
directory.
I also checked on your namelist. You specify io_style_emissions =2,
which expects date specific emissions yet you specify:
auxinput5_inname = 'wrfchemi_<hr>z_d<domain>',
! Anthropogenic Emissions
auxinput5_interval_m = 60,
! Minutes
io_form_auxinput5 = 2,
frames_per_auxinput5 = 12,
Please look at the WRF-Chem User Guide to make sure your namelist
settings are correct.
