mapping FINNv2.5 to WRF-Chem MOZART-T1

Hello,

I am trying to use grid_finn_fire_emis fortran program to grid FINNv2.5 emissions text file (FINNv2.5_modvrs_MOZART_2020_c20211213.txt.gz) and produce wrffirechemi_* Netcdf fire emissions files needed to run WRF-Chem with MOZART-T1 chemical gas phase mechanism.

The grid_finn_fire_emis fortran program comes with some *.inp mapping example files for different models, including one for the WRF model named example_finn15_wrf.inp. However, the one regarding the WRF model is only applicable to FINNv1.5 fire emissions and not to FINNv2.5. 

Can someone clarify for me if:

1) Can I use the same *.inp file ?

2) If I need to add some species listed on the FINNv2.5 emission file but not specified in the aforementioned *.inp; can I add them as listed in the MOZART-T1 mechanism?
