Fire size larger than the grid cell area

Hi all,

I am using fire_emiss processor with FINN v2.5 (modis+viirs) input data. I noticed that in some grid cells, the output fire size is larger than my grid resolution (1 km2).

Does anyone know what might cause this issue? Please let me know if you have any questions.
